Ene Obi
Chairman
Comrade Ene Obi is the immediate past Country Director of ActionAid Nigeria which she led for 6 years, and the immediate past Convener of the Nigerian Civil Society Situation Room.
Until her appointment as AAN Country Director in February 2018, she worked in various capacities within ActionAid Federation. Notably is her role as a Regional Trainer at the MS Training Centre for Development Cooperation in Arusha, Tanzania for 5 years (2011 – 2015) teaching human rights, governance and social justice and as an international consultant supporting ActionAid International’s Gender Responsive Public Service (GRPS) under ActionAid Denmark (2016 – 2018). Within the last 16 years, Ene has worked in over 15 countries across Africa and some parts of Asia leading various ActionAid’s projects towards the realization of the organization’s vision to eradicating poverty and promoting social justice.

Edeh Precious Oche

With over a decade of experience in working with young people in Nigeria and globally, Oche Edeh Precious is a renowned activist and expert in youth development, democracy promotion, and capacity building. He has worked with several organization such as Damex Consultancy, Rayfield Resort LTD, 1010 Partners International. He is the Co-Founder, YES Initiative. The Founder, Value Your Vote Naija, Promise Monitor, and Inspire Hub Nigeria.
The First youth member to serve on the Advisory Committee of USAID-Palladium Scale project alongside distinguished professionals, including Prof. Umar Pate.
Oche Edeh Precious is a trained accountant by profession and his innovative initiatives have transformed countless lives, fostering a brighter future for Nigeria’s youth.

Prof. Shola Omotola
Vice-Chairman
Prof. J. Shola Omotola, Professor of Political Science at Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), is the 2023 Claude Ake Visiting Chair at the Nordic Africa Institute and the Department of Peace and Conflict Research, Uppsala University, Sweden. He was a Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration) at FUOYE and a member of the Board of Election Integrity Project (EIP).

Omoruyi Austin Aigbe

Omoruyi Austin Aigbe, work to support democracy and governance programs. His interest includes international politics and development, electoral integrity, countering mis/disinformation in elections, and Leadership and Glocalization. He has worked as Program Manager at the International Republican Institute (IRI), the American nonprofit organization committed to advancing freedom and democracy worldwide.
He has a Master’s degree from the New York University (NYU)’s Robert F. Wagner, Graduate School of Public Service, specializing in international development – Public and Nonprofit Management and Policy. He is a member of the International Public Service Association (IPSA), a Fellow of the Ford Foundation International Fellowships Program, Alumni of the Africa Leadership Forum (ALF) Ota, and the Global Social Change Leadership Institute (GSCLI), New York.

Fatima Mohammed Habib

Fatima Mohammed Habib.
The youngest humanitarian in Nigeria, Fatima Mohammed Habib is a graduate of Political Science from University of Maiduguri, and a Yali RLC alumna. At the age of 14, Fatima founded Advocacy for Human Value Foundation; a Non-profit Organization that aims at improving the lives of the most vulnerable by providing them with basic needs such as Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), health care services, protection and education across Nigeria.
She is known for making awareness on child sexual exploitation, gender based violence, and promoting girl child education in communities. Over the years, her organization has impacted about 157,000 rural lives in 10,000 marginalized communities in Northern Nigeria.

Dr. Dara Akala

Dara Akala is the founder and Managing Partner of Integrated Training and Development Consulting (ITDC) Ltd, a consulting firm that specializes in agricultural market systems development, agricultural project management, monitoring and evaluation, organization systems development, impact analysis and special studies. Since November 2022, he has been engaged by the African Development Bank as a technical coordination and results tracking consultant for the Africa Emergency Food Production Program.
Dara Akala was also the Executive Director of PIND Foundation, Chevron’s Corporate Social Enterprise in Nigeria, from 2016 before retiring in December 2021. Before then, he was the Programs Director from 2013 to 2016 and the Economic Development Center Manager from 2010 to 2013. Prior to PIND, he worked with Living Earth Foundation (LEF), United Kingdom where he provided support to African programs and established the Nigerian affiliate of LEF, the EC/FGN funded micro projects program in three states (MPP3) of the Niger Delta. He was also a Program Manager at TechnoServe/Nigeria, and was responsible for managing a program of assistance to increase the productivity and income of agribusinesses in the Nigeria’s southern region, as well as providing capacity building assistance to Community Development Associations. His work at the Agricultural & Rural Management Training Institute and the Benin-Owena River Basin Development Authority involved leveraging funding from bilateral and multilateral development assistance agencies. A seasoned socio-economist with over 30 years’ multi-layered professional experience across national, regional and private voluntary institutions within the agricultural and rural sectors of Nigeria, Mr. Akala has deep knowledge of agricultural policies and programs in Nigeria. His expertise spans the interrelated fields of governance, poverty reduction and sustainable development.
He is a flexible and resourceful team player with a passion for creating and nurturing tri-sector partnerships between government, business, and civil society to foster sustainable development initiatives.

Lois Auta

Lois is a creative business executive experienced in developing, implementing and facilitating innovative and strategic initiatives in both start-up and growth organizations with specific expertise in disability inclusion and development. A graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Administration from the University of Abuja, Nigeria as well as holds several Certificates from an array of universities in Global Business, Project Management; Sustainability and Personal Branding. Her passion and drive for disability inclusion resonates with many allowing her to win stakeholder trust and go on to achieve sustainable results and recorded many milestones. She is currently the Global President, Founder & CEO of Network of Women with Disabilities, a global-owned network where she is responsible for steering the development and empowerment of women and girls with disabilities on major thematic areas.
Lois is a diversity and Inclusion Expert, Local and Global Disability Advocate, Inclusive Education Advocate, Human Rights Defender, Global Citizen, Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum, Dangote Fellow, Mandela Washington Fellow, Ashoka Changemaker Scholar and a Conscious Politician.

Dr. Terfa Abraham

Dr Terfa Abraham, holds a B.Sc and M.Sc in Economics from Ahmadu Bello University and a PhD in Economics from the University of Dakar, Senegal funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education through the WASCAL/DAAD Climate Change Economics programme. He is a member of the Nigerian Economic Society (NES) and a Senior Research Fellow with the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS). He serves as consultant to Development Partners and CSOs in the areas of public finance, gender analysis, climate change and agro-ecology. He has publication’s in fields of public Finance and macroeconomics.

Osere Daniels is a pastor, creative writer and publisher, content and concept developer, public speaker, personal development coach and peace advocate. Osere Daniels Ewharekuko is the CEO, Real Masterplan Resources, COO, Depointe Consulting and Country Coordinator of Breakforth Nigeria, an NGO that focuses on women empowerment and their leadership development with headquarters in Dublin, Ireland.
Over the years Osere Daniels has organized conferences and summits that border on peace building, national development, patriotic participation of citizens in nation building, women’s rights and empowerment as well as personal and leadership development.
Osere Daniels is an author of several books of national significance, including, Actors on the Nigeria Stage, The Laws of Peace and National Unity, Lend Your Voice (a book calling on women and members of society to speak up against discrimination and SGBV) and his book which was recently endorsed by the Nigerian Educational Research Development Council (NERDC) titled, “In Brotherhood We Stand”.
He is the publisher of the Nation Builders Magazine and the Convener, National Peace and Unity Campaign.
